[Solved (sort of)] Problem with special character in Ditto call

Hello, I searched the forums first, but couldn’t come up with a solution. So I hope somebody can help. Here’s my Ditto call:

I used the html character entity &hellips; to make an ellipsis symbol. However, it doesn’t show up! Should I escape the html entity in some way, maybe the ’&’ in it breaks the Ditto call?

A good workaround would be (in Ditto 2.0.2) to use the &tplTrunc parameter . You would just create a chunk containing your truncation text and then set tplTrunc equal to that.

However, for the record: it turns out &hellips; didn’t work here either, but … does. Pfff... the finer points of character encoding still escape me
