ditto.modxcms.com slowed down by Google Analytics ?

    The past few days, I have noticed page load on Ditto’s doc is getting pretty long (like over 30 seconds to load and I have a 20 mega DSL connection here)... I have experienced this kind of thing at times, Google Analytics can wreck havoc on page loads... Any possible fix ?

      I use Google Analytics on most of my modx sites and have not had any slowdown.. but I guess none of my sites get as many hits as diito.modxcms.com.

        ditto.modxcms.com is not running on the same server as MODx.

          I get a 647 millisecond load time on a 5 megabit cable connection.

          FYI: It is running on a (mt) grid server.

              Maybe because I am in Europe... I’ll ping the server to get a better understanding cause it’s real slow here...

                The response time on the gs service is typically awful in my experience so far. Do not depend on it if you want speed. In particular, both the database connections and overall response time are very sluggish, even though the PHP execution time always shows great results... 0.04s and such tongue
