I’ve got Ditto working with tags now, but I’m stumped on how to display the date of creation and tags in a given blog entry itself.
A blog entry in the Ditto-created output looks like this here:
Entry title
written on DATE, tagged TAGS
Now when I click the entry title and arrive at the blog entry itself, I’d like to have the corresponding "written on DATE, tagged TAGS" somewhere on the blog entry page as well.
I thought about creating a chunk with [+date+] and [+tagLinks+] in it, but that’s bound to fail, how should the page know where to get the correct data from? So far, I’ve just entered the blog entry content into the content editing field in the manager; another idea might be to use a Ditto call for displaying the blog entry content just as on a summary page? Will have to try that later on tonight, though thoughts on that are appreciated.
You should use the FormatDate and TagLinks snippets for that.
