It seems, that there is no validation for special chars ... is it possible to add this feature?

used:
- ditto 2.0.1
- MODx 0.9.6 RC1
- [[Ditto? &startID=`1` &format=`atom` &abbrLanguage=`DE` &summarize=`20` &depth=`5` &sortBy=`editedon` &total=`20`]]

Please file a bug report for this and I’ll take care of it in the morning (its 3am at the moment...)

Give the development version a try (see my signerature). The last commit should fix this.

Perfect! http://temp.paarplatz.com/atom.xml works with the SVN-Version!
(but the temporary feed will be closed soon)

Thank you very much!!!!!!

Is it hard to change? Wayfinder has the same problem (invalid HTML with "&" character in title) ... but it doesn´t destroy the whole page ...

If it is just that character you can do:

$var = str_replace("&","&",$var);

If you want all special characters encoded:

$value = htmlspecialchars(html_entity_decode($value));

Note that $var and $value represent the variable that needs to be changed, not the actual variable in Wayfinder.
