ditto parameters, what goes where?

Good Morning,

(Using latest versions of apache,php, modx-0.95, ditto 2) Ditto pages are published, uncached, and not shown in menu

I’ve hit a wall and am having trouble finding out how to get Ditto to function as needed. First, I’m trying to get the news section on my site to display for each article:

the heading and 200 characters, followed immediately, on the same line ’read more’ and the date.

snippet:
[!Ditto? &tpl=`DittoTemplate` &truncText=`200` &summarize=`10` &removeChunk=`FormBlogComments` &sortBy=`pub_date` &dateFormat=`%B %d %Y`!]

any ideas how to get the news section to display the heading and 200 characters, followed immdeidately on the same line ’read more’ and the date?

...and in another section only want to show the DItto heading on the main page. It correctly shows only the heading but for some reason it also shows in the following line after each heading:

"by Built-in Administration account on 31-Jan-07 03:43". I have no idea why it always shows this...

here’s the snippet call:
[!Ditto? &startID=`64` &summarize=`20` &sortBy=`menuindex` &sortDir=`ASC` &removeChunk==`FormBlogComments`!]

Yes I rebuilt the website in the modxhost default folder that came with modx-0.9.5. What/where can I change so the page does not show this info under every Ditto article?

No, this is in Ditto’s default template. If you do not specify a &tpl value it will show that. You simply need to create a new tpl chunk like you did before.
