Actually, I agree with you. The part of my comment you didn’t see, which was still in my head, was that the community should get more involved and help write the documentation and answer questions rather than put the total burden on the main developer (kinda like a scaled-down model of what’s happened to MODx... people got involved).

You upgrade guide that you loos like just what the Dr. ordered. If we could stick it on the wiki and all contribute to it it would be fantastic. One of the most difficult taks in an aopen source project is keeping track of all the updates dates and rev #s - especially without a CVS.

i downloaded the trunk, updated the snippet code, added &config=compatibility to the news.call and then i am getting that: "/assets/snippets/ditto/configs/compatibility.config.php does not exist. Please check the file."
it would be cool to have an example ditto2 setup template like version 1 had.

The [+introtext+] doesn’t work for me...
My call is

and the tpl is:

This doesn’t do anything... i can get [+summary+] to work with the legacy support, but whats the new way without that?

You have to set introtext (labled as "Summary (introtext)" for each document.
