Reflect - archive by year and month

    Now I’m wondering how I could set up the template so it would also show maybe years and months - this is what I have so far:

      You could use &dateFormat parameter for that.

        Sorry, but I don’t get it - I do have &dateFormat in the call:
        [!Ditto? id=`dittoCall` &parents=`26` &summarize=`2` &limit=`4` &paginate=`1` &paginateAlwaysShowLinks=`1` &tpl=`DittoNewsTemplate` &dateFormat=`%B %d %Y, %H:%M:%S` &hideFolders=`1` &extenders=`dateFilter`!]


        When I’m getting the archive list ordered by year and month and e.g. click on "2005" I’m currently getting a list with all the items in that year - that’s fine so far - what I don’t get is how those items could be grouped by months but maybe that’s not possible - looks like I’d need an outerDittoTpl?!

          I was referring to &dateFormat for the Reflect date parameter. Reflect is the only Ditto related snippet that "groups" items. You can have a Reflect call pass data to another Reflect call but why not just have one call that shows all the items and use JavaScript to dynamically expand months?

            Reflect generates its own dates locally without using Ditto. You would need to set the locale in the Reflect snippet.
            I added setlocale in the Reflect snippet just at the beginning whitout any success. Month are tranlated in french but I still have no output.
            Moreover, I have an output only with some month due to accent but it’s wrong output tongue

              Does anybody use Reflect whit another language than English?
              I still have no output undecided

                  As I said in my previous message, I have no output if I add setlocale in Reflect snippet in order to convert month.
                  I would like to say it’s ok with English but it’s an education french site tongue

                    If you are getting a white screen, that usually means PHP encountered an error but it is being suppressed (sent to log file). Can you check the contents of your PHP error log?

                      Same here. I can’t find an error log. What is the default configuration for getting an error log? Where is it saved normally?
