IS Ditto the one to use for menu with different item icon ?

Hi,

Does someone can tell if this, is possible with Ditto, or if I have to look for something else :

My purpose is to create a specific menus where each item/link would have is own image above.

Usually I use Wayfinder and CSS styling, but I dont see how to deal with one icon per item..

You can use wayfinder and have it set an id to each item, then in your css assign a different image to each id

of course after, it will be ez to style it. Have you some example of such a WF call ?

just add the parameter

&rowIdPrefix=`some prefix`

and replace ’some prefix’ with the value you would like for each id. Wayfinder will append the docid to the end of the prefix for each item in the menu.

May be the right stuff.

In another hand the goal is actually not so far from some kind of catalog, meaning the icon link could change ( case of a new item create by the user in his backend, doing a new page) and this could not be automatically reflected in the menu..

That’s why I was first thinking about Ditto..
