Still here, still trying to get this to work, I even installed the beta version but It didnt show anything, prob because I dont know how to call the new version.

I can see two possibilities:
1) Your TV is actually called Rank, and should be referred to as tvRank.
2) Some wacky SQL issue.
Thanks paul, but its called rank all lower case, it works fine with createdon, pub_date, editedon but the second I add any tv it finds nothing, I`ve tested about 5 tvs, all throw up nothing.
So annoying so near yet so far, can you confirm that it should sort by template variable? Its also odd why it dont throw the debug info when I use the &sortBy=
I can confirm that sorting by TVs in Ditto 1.1 works.
For me, anyway.
You are using 1.1 beta, I`m using the 1.02 release, the new beta dosnt work for me, prolly installed it wrong as it had no instructions.
Perhaps I`ll try again.
Well, update the Ditto snippet, delete the old assets/snippets/ditto directory and upload the new one.
There aren’t too many instructions as you see. If you have troubles, describe your problem and I’ll lend you a hand
Thanks for your help I did try to upgrade but it didnt work, i just read the thread and I had to take out the <?php tag at the top of the snippet, everything now works!
I`m almost too tired to celebrate cus I was up till 3am last night messing with modx.

Yes, if you’re on a version prior the 095 (every kind of 095) you’ve to strip out <?php and ?>.
From 095 and up those tags aren’t a problem, you can leave them or strip them out, it the same (in fact, the system adds those tags if you strip them).
