I noticed that the author’s email is displayed, which is obviously not ideal in most instances. How do I prevent this?

I fixed this by editing the "ditto.class.inc.php" file. Seems strange that email display was enabled by default or am I missing something?
You are required to have a valid email address in the author tag for your feed to be considered valid,
I have now found the dc (document creator) xml extension and will now use that instead of the author tag in the next release. Besides the fact that the RSS output will be customizeable too!
Try out the new Ditto 1.1 Beta 1 which implements this.
