  @tof: I caught that a few hours after launch and its complete fix will be available in Ditto 1.0.1 (coming soon to a MODx install near you!)

  Sure.
  
  Tutorial:
  
  1. Set document to use template (blank) and have the "text/xml" document type.
  
  2. Append &format=`rss` to your Ditto call
  
  Thats it!

  hi !
  is it possible to filter out document files ? ( only display folders ), because i think i’m gonna use ditto instead of dropmenu ( more powerful output control )
  
  also, i can’t get paginating to work ... in the pdf documentation, i have to paste the pagination call right in the page, and the "pagination pageholder" as a chunk isn’t it ? ( which will be called by to ditto snippet )

  Yes, you can filter out documents using the following filter tag:
  
  

  &filter=`isfolder,1`
  

  
  
  As for pagination, the pagination placeholders just get copied and pasted into the page contents as well. No need for anything else.

  More bugs, or more of me totally missing the point...
  Here are my calls:
  

  [!Ditto? &startID=`83` &summarize=`0` &dateFormat=`%b %d, %Y` &dateFormatType=`pub_date` &sortBy=`pub_date` &archiveDateType=`pub_date` !]
  
  [!NewsListing? &startID=`83` &summarize=`0` &dateformat=`%b %d, %Y` &dateFormatType=`pub_date` &sortby=`pub_date` &archiveDateType=`pub_date` !]

  
  And here’s the output, Ditto on the right, NewsListing on the left:
  
  So...
  Ditto (archive) does not categorize by month? Forgive me if this was cleared up earlier, but if it was, could somebody explain what I’m doing wrong?

  Assuming you patched your release with the few fix’s contained in the posts above, I can’t explain what is going on with your Archives. I just triple checked and on my install it runs just fine.

  However, whatever language I’m trying to set, Ditto returns the default language. Moreover, documents are always sorted by createdon:
  
  e.g. [!Ditto?&startid=3 &language=`francais` &sortBy=`menuindex`!] calls english (enven though francais is installed) and sort by createdon.

  Is the language file named francais.language.php?
