Problem solved. NewsListing guru Mark Kaplan discovered (thanks Mark!) I had somehow lost the last line in the snippet when I copied-and-pasted the upgrade from version 4 to 6.3.3 into MODx Manager. And that line is the most important of all since it outputs the result from the snippet. No wonder it was just mute!

The question comes naturally: Wouldn’t it be nice to have a fool-proof installer for upgrades which eliminates the risk of making these silly but sometimes fatal mistakes? But maybe that’s something we can expect from 0.9.2 ?
