I have a problem with Login.ForgotPassword. My setup looks similar to this tutorial:
http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Login.Basic+Setup . After clicking "Submit" on ForgotPassword resource page, the page just reloads with the fields empty, and the emiail is not sent. The strangest thing is that once it worked - it showed text from lgnForgotPassSentTpl corretly, and the email was sent. I think it was a combination of Logins/outs or values left in input fields in the front end, but I could not reproduce it again.
I’ve also found another issue with my setup and Login, maybe completely unrelated: After a user registers the confirmation email is sent. After he clicks the link account becomes active, the page with ConfirmRegister (which has a redirectTo set) is loaded, but not once but twice. On the second load the user gets actually to the error page (since account is already activated by the second load). It happens instantly, so only the error page is displayed. It is like the ConfirmRegister redirected to itself, but again that is not where redirectTo points. I’ve overome it by making errPage and confirmed page the same.
How can I properly troubleshoot my first problem? I’ve looked at code and it looks good.I’m using MODX Revo 2.1.2, PHP 5.2, IIS 7.5, SQLSrv.
