Using Evo 1.0.3 - Using ModX since Jan this year, so sloooooowly getting a bit more adventurous, and hopefully not in too much trouble. grin

I have Workshops, Events, Biographies templates that uses Ditto calls to &tpl Chunks that pull in TVS for individual Workshops, Events, Biographies to their main pages - all working - hooray!

Each biography information is created within the ’resource content’ area & uses a TV for an image.
Each Workshop, Event information is created by entering the text in assigned TVs.

I’ve created a manager user called ’Updater’, who when logs in gets directed to an ’Updates’ page.

    WHAT I CAN’T FIGURE OUT
On this ’Updates’ page, the user needs to be able to go to either Workshops, Events or Biographies to either edit, add or delete an entry. I can’t figure out how to give the user access to each specific entry called by Ditto.

I’ve tried to follow suggestions on using PubKit for this particular page - but I can’t figure out how to install PubKit!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    smiley
Please let me know if I should have phrased this a different way to make sense. Thanks.

You could use a snippet to display a link to the entry for logged-in users, and have this part of the Ditto tpl, so each item would have a link to its full resource, then the editor can just use the QuickManager for editing its parts.

Try following QuickManager+ "Inline edit buttons" section here:

so, I used the QuickManager route and it worked perfectly! I did give a go with Snippet, but I need a bit more practice with PHP -- I’ll get there one day.

          Thanks very much. grin
