I have booking page with booking form for tours and there are "tour name" and "tour date" fields. I have individual pages for each individual tours and there is "book a tour" button on each tour page.
I want either:
a) One booking form with possibility to choose tour name from drop down menu (not a problem) and then choose tour date using a calendar. Now the calendar is the problem, since the possible tour dates are different for different tours. So it means calendar field choices would change when you change tour name field. My site is purely css/xhtml, would using .asp /.net cause any problems? I don’t hava ANY experience with these. How about javascript? Remember that this is a booking form which I want to work flawlessly on every user/possible guest.
or
b) One booking form where the tour name and the right calendar is automatically chosen for you when you click book a tour button on particular tour page. This sounds more doable for me? Is there a way with ditto to pull template variable from last visited document/resource?
or
c) Something else?
What is the best way to go? Any ideas?
Happy New Year!
Thanks,
Tommy
Anyone? My mind is totally blank here and I can’t find any help reading old posts. I could always do one booking form per tour, but it’s not the real solution or the idea of using modx, is it?
Thanks for any help. Great forum, great community!
