Although ive made numerous MODx sites and havent any problems with creating anything I want, I am now stuck with Reflect.
Trying for hours, reading every post, noone seems to have clear answers, IF there are answers at all.
And ppl not sharing their results doesnt help either
meh, might just start a new post
better than ranting here
[edit]
Right after this rant I found the solution (finally) for what seemed to be the problem.
I had
multiple [[ditto]] calls on my page. Adding an &id=’’ parameter to my primary [[ditto]] call broke my pagination.
So I struggled with getting working links, cus i missed the &id=’’.
In this post I found that having multiple [[ditto]] calls requires one to update the placeholders (e.g. for the pagination) to the format [+id_placeholder+] (e.g. [+id_previous+] [+id_pages+] [+id_next+].
After doing that, ive succesfully added &id=’’ parameter to my primary [[ditto]] call and got reflect to work.
Setup
blog container (id=1)
- page 1
- page 2
- page 3
Ditto call (inside id 1)
[[Ditto?
&id=`blog`
&parents=`1`
&display=`2`
&removeChunk=`reacties`
&tpl=`tpl_blog_frontpage`
&extenders=`summary,dateFilter`
&paginate=`1`
&paginateAlwaysShowLinks=`0`
&tplPaginateCurrentPage=`currentPageSplitter`
&tplPaginatePage=`pageSplitter`
&truncLen=`1000`
&dateFormat=`%d-%m-%Y`
&startID=`1`
]]
reflect call (inside the template wich also has one more [[ditto]] call and wich is used for id 1)
[[Reflect? &config=`wordpress` &id=`blog` &targetID=`1` ¶m=`parents:1` &getDocuments=`1` &tplContainer=`reflect_container_tpl`]]
not the solution to the problem above, but might help out some ppl
