Template Variables reset themselves

Hello,
I just ran in to problem with Template Variables. Only when I create a new page and set some value for a template variable (in my case an image) it works. If I later try to change that into something else it resets to template variable default value (not even my original value) and does not let me change it it anything else. Everything seems okay until I click save button. Then it resets itself.
Any suggestions.
My MODx is 0.9.6.2.

I think this issue was resolved with 0963. You should try upgrading to that first.
