Anyway xyzvisual, I get it working now. I’m trying to login on the manager side, which is it’s suppose to be an account for the webuser.
It’s a cool features you got there.

Have you seen it yet Ryan? What do you think? I think it’s cool, except that it’s kinda overlap with quickedit. The only major benefit from this snippet, we can see the listing of the articles, and edit it, instead of going to the page and use quickedit, which is do able as well. This snippet also allow webuser to do the editing, instead of manager. So tel me what you think about this Ryan, David?

I might put this on the repository and xyzvisual, would you mind maintaining and improving this snippet by the time we put it on there?

It’s better to have the ability to check the empty field with javascript.

I’ve been asking this question for quite a while. Do you think we can use the current javascript included in the core or do we need to use wform extension, the one from formassembly.com. I think they have quite an extensible form engine in there. I mean we can use it for validating, generating, and controling the form.

Any idea will be awesome, because other snippets can start using the script as well for validation.

y realy want to use this snippet for make a custom bakend for a client
start making only for news and before see his posibilities to make a custom bakend whith filtered freatures, im working now ,in a company who works in asp and need make pages like it whithout cms managment to sell my body, realy is in front to quikedit but forme quickedit is too prety for standar clients and dont like popups windows.
and finaly want to give exactly the freatures my client want swited whith the pagewebdesign. For now want to integrate tv in the newsediter for make a multicontent page and anothers.... A lot of work to do but very interesting. i realy do only a few webs (realy only ended 1) but it give me the way to start walking in php

it dont send error menssage only go back to the form

I think it’s wonderful to be able to edit this from the front end without requiring manager access, and the way it should be handled. Goes very well with NewsPublisher.

Updated now the demo site works well and is updated news editer to allow multiple words page title descripltion and long title
