Wayfinder template outputs template code

I’m trying to edit the rowTpl and it’s calling the chunk correctly, but it is printing literally what is in the chunk. Here is what I have

<p><a href="[+wf.link+]">[+wf.linktext+]</a>
[+wf.description+] [+wf.wrapper+]</p>

And here is what I get:

[+wf.linktext+]
[+wf.description+] [+wf.wrapper+]

The first line ([+wf.linktext+]) is even a link. I’ve tried just copying the example straight from the wiki and I get the same results, it doesn’t print the list of pages, it prints wf.whatever in it’s place. Everything else seems to be set properly. If I remove the rowTpl setting, it prints a bulleted list just fine.

The reason I am trying to edit this is because I want the wayfinder to ultimately display the title and the description for each child page.

Forgot to mention, I have MODx 2.1.1 pl and wayfinder version 2.3.1 pl.

They look like Evolution placeholders.
I think you need to try something like [[+wf.linktext+] and so on for Revolution

I thought it might be something like that. I tried switching everything to two brackets, then it prints out nothing.

I am trying to get the title to print, then a br tag, then the description to print. And I only want the title linked.
