Wayfinder 2.3.1for Revo returns nothing (Solved - cut and paste unseen chars)

I used working configs from other sites, and installed Wayfinder into a clean new site, with four Contexts.

The above code was placed in the site start of the "web" Context.

The only output I get, is from the Context Setting....

I have cleared the site cache and also manually removed the entire /core/cache directory multiple times.

The ACLS are set to default for new Contexts: Anonymous 9999 Load Only and Administrator 0 Administrator

I have used PHP 5.26 and PHP 5.3.6 on the site, and multiple browsers.

Other Snippets like quickcrumbs are working as expected.

Erm,

startIdContext=`[[++site_start]]`

is not a valid value for the ’startIdContext’ parameter.

It is if it was overridden in the Context laugh

I forgot to mention, I have 15 other sites with the exact same server configuration which are working fine.

I reinstalled MODX over top of itself.

I would love to be able to really uninstall wayfinder and put an older one in to test.

There are no errors. Wayfinder debug simply says there are no resources for it to use.

In five year of MODX, this is the top weirdness.

Discovered a new quirk...

Using the same Snippet call and row tpl as I have on my site, Wayfinder refuses to return any Resources at the top of a context. If I convert the "start page" to a container, it will return everything under it, just fine.

I will keep tinkering...

BTW I am not trying to load Resources across Contexts...

After further tinkering, I decided to "break" the Snippet call based on a bug report I submitted a few days ago. Notice the missing backtick after [[++site_start]]?

<div id="mainnav">[[Wayfinder?startId=`[[site_start]]&level=`1`&sortBy=`menuindex`&rowTpl=`wfNavBar`]]</div>

The Snippet started working.

I got to thinking this might be an issue of "trash control characters" due to cutting and pasting....

Retyped the call from scratch, though it appears identical to the non working version.

It started working correctly....
