Help with Wayfinder Template [SOLVED]

Hi,

I have two sites that are setup the same way. For some reason on one of the sites when I call wayfinder:

[[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &outerTpl=`top-nav` &excludeDocs=`2`]]

Here’s the template:

<ul id="top-nav"[+wf.classes+]>[+wf.wrapper+]</ul>

I get the following code:

As you can see it the code is returning the UL ID of the submenu as <ul id="top-nav">

I don’t want the submenu to have id of Top Nav and on my other site using the exact same template, exact same call, the sub-menus do not come up with the <ul id="top-nav"> they return as just <ul> which is what I need.

I’m not the best with programming, but I can’t understand why it’s working differently on two sites with exactly the same call, the same template. Any help would be appreciated. If anyone needs more information, please let me know.

I’m using Evolution 1.0.5 on both sites. Same hosting environment.

Create a chunk with the code
<ul>[+wf.wrapper+]</ul>

name it something like top-nav-inner

Then call it as your innerTpl in your WF call, i.e. add &innerTpl=`top-nav-inner` to your WF call
