Updated to 2.3.0-rc1

Hey, I updated Wayfinder to 2.3.0-rc1 today, and the whole MODx Manager is messed. I’m running the latest version of Revo.

Here’s a screenshot:

I can see messages like this in error log:
[2011-03-09 22:05:53] (ERROR @ /mnt/web8/22/46/51852746/htdocs/modx_revo/core/model/modx/processors/system/config.js.php : 89) PHP warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /mnt/web8/22/46/51852746/htdocs/modx_revo/core/cache/mgr/actions.cache.php:1)

Could you please help me?

Solved - The first line of the file /core/cache/mgr/actions.cache.php was messed up. I deleted the mess right before <?php in the 1st line, now MODx is working again. Doesn’t look like a wayfinder problem.

Hi,

I have upgraded to 2.3.0-rc1 and I am suddenly having problems with the sub-menus. &hideSubMenus=`1` now hides ALL submenus regardless of where you are in the site. &hideSubMenus=`0` shows ALL submenus regardless of where you are in the site. The change log shows: "[#14] Fix issue with hideSubMenus when using it with a non-zero startId."

Do I have to write the call differently now or has a new bug been introduced? undecided

My call is:

[[!Wayfinder? &startId=`[[UltimateParent? &topLevel=`[[*section-sub-nav-start-level]]`]]` &outerTpl=`sub-outerTpl` &rowTpl=`sub-rowTpl`&hereTpl=`sub-rowTpl-here` &parentRowTpl=`sub-rowTpl-parent` &activeParentRowTpl=`sub-activeParentRowTpl` &innerTpl=`sub-innerTpl` &innerRowTpl=`sub-innerRowTpl` &innerHereTpl=`sub-innerRowTpl-here` &hideSubMenus=`1`]]

Has anyone else experienced any problems with the upgrade?

What is essential for our css-work is the docid und classnames-attributes. Wayfinder 2.3.0 does not deliver them somehow, so our menu broke. sad

Anyone any ideas?
Is there an easy way to downgrade back to 2.1.3?

okay, i found the restore-function in the package manager. will wait with updating until this seems fixed...

I’m not sure what your problem is; if you set hideSubMenus to 0 (it’s default), it *should* show all submenus that have "Hide From Menus" unchecked, that are published, and that are within the rest of your Wayfinder parameters.
Meanwhile, hideSubMenus=`1` should hide all submenus, and only show the active level.

Can you clarify what your specific issue is?

This is my specific problem, hideSubMenus=`1` does hide all submenus but it does not show the active level.

Everything works great in version 2.2.0, its only once 2.3.0 is installed that the submenus vanish

Guess I’m still confused, this works fine for me. With these resources:

Is that not right? Should it be showing A-B-C?

Try Wayfinder-2.3.0-rc2; I’ve replaced the changed code with the old code, with some optimizations, to try and address this.
