Wayfinder - how do I add down icon to parent if using &hideSubMenus=`true`

Hey folks,

I am sure this has been answered before somewhere but I can’t find it.

I want to have &hideSubMenus=`true` so that submenus don’t appear on mouseover.

But I do want an icon e.g. down triangle on parent menu items so that there is a visual clue that there is a sub menu.

Suggestions?

Should the menu element with the down arrow be clickable then?

Not sure if I understood correctly, but wouldn’t you just use the &parentRowTpl
parameter in your WayFinder call?

Assuming you’re using Evo:


Then create a chunk called ’parentRowTpl’ with something similar to this - where ’(v)’ is your down arrow:

I don’t understand either. Can you explain better how does your menu work?
