I’m looking to have a conditional menu for an estate agent’s site. If a container has no published documents in it, I want it to not show up in the menu.
For example, I have a category of ’London lettings’, however if there are no properties currently available in that category, I want to remove it from the menu altogether. However, the agent may have some unpublished documents in there (properties on the books but not currently available), so I need to specify that if there are no *published* resources then don’t show the parent.

You could use the Wayfinder parameter [tt]&excludeDocs[/tt] , letting its value (comma seperated list of IDs) be created by a Ditto call which filters in reference to the document field [tt][+published+][/tt] .
