Does anyone have a good Wayfinder drop down menu tutorial that walks a relative beginner through the process?

I am happy to create my own Custom CSS. Really looking for...

1. Create a chunk called ’X’
2. paste in this code
3. Add this CSS call to your HEAD
4. Add the following Wayfinder snippet between a DIV called ’MENU’


That type of thing.
I’ve been around the MuddyPaws examples but they assume a lot of knowledge up front.
