Wayfnder questions

Hello im very new with the revolution and its been a very long time for me using modx.

i wanted to apply it to our company website, i got everything up to installing and making wayfinder work. but when i applied MuddyDogPaws code nothing happend. its just displaying all links not ridding and sliding down the sub menus

and i still dont get the same result as what i am following can anyone help me with this

I struggled with Wayfinder as well. Just could not get the look and feel I wanted.

I went with Superfish, although I did use Wayfinder to generate the <li> tags.

Superfish is easy to install and I found it easy to integrate with my MODx site (me being an absolute noob with MODx then).

so ill use wayfinder to generate the code of the menu and call superfish with the ul id?

That is correct. Wayfinder will generate whatever structure your css/javascript needs. Wayfinder itself doesn’t care what you do with the content it generates, it just does what you tell it with the parameters and tpl chunks.
