Is this kind of menu structure possible with Modx?

i want to use this kind of menustrukture on my site, is this possible with modx?
Horizontal Menu on top:
Item1 Item2 Item3 ... ItemN

Vertical Menustruktur on the left:
Headline1 (no Hyperlink)
Item 1
Item 2
Item 3
...

Headline2 (no Hyperlink)
Item 1
Item 2
Item 3
....

Headline3 (no Hyperlink)
Item 1
Item 2
Item 3
....

Yes. Using "ultimateParent", "wayFinder" "getResources" and/or "getResourceField"

Thank you, to specify this more, these menuitems are idenpendent and should link all to a static site.
They should be visible on every site.

The top horizontal menu would be a simple Wayfinder snippet with &level=`1` (unless you wanted drop-down submenues).

The side menus would use Wayfinder snippet calls with the startId paremeter set with the UltimateParent snippet, and the non-linking menu heading provided with the showStart parameter.

Edit: How can I add an id/class to an li to set it active if this element is active?

Try to use firebug, you’ll be able to easily see the output of Wayfinder, structure, classes, etc.

The name of that parameter is [tt]&displayStart[/tt] . It is used together with the parameter [tt]&startItemTpl[/tt] .
