wayfinder

Hi!

I am learning Revolution and have droblem with creating the dropdown function on my testweb with wayfinder . I can see the horizontal line but none of the other menues below.

What am i doing wrong?

What items should have a drop down menu, have you published these documents?

EDIT
You’ve also got you nav appearing within a UL. So it like this:
<ul id="nav">
<ul class="dropdown dropdown-horizontal">

The first UL also isn’t closed.

and so on........

all the resources are published. i am working with the aquarious template (some may have different templates, standard modx default)

What should i write in the template

is this the correct way that you have wrote above.

Have you got you navigation working within static html, so if you manually create the nav in the html without the use of wayfinder. If not i’d recomend doing this first as it’s then easier to break up and create the correct wayfinder templates.

But any how you don’t need to nest a ul within another ul. Also don’t put the wayfinder call within the <ul>. Just make your outerClass chunk contains the UL, so for example:



You may need to adjust the CSS as the id=nav is now applied to the same UL with the dropdown class.

You will also need an &innerTpl in the wayfinder call. Give the chunk somthing like:
