need urgent help in wayfinder

Please anyone tell me how to have a different styling of a menu item if it is clicked or selected.
For styling menu items I am using classes.

By default the ’active’ item should have a ’class="active"’ assigned.

From the docs:

&hereClass
default: active
values: name of class
description: The hereClass will be applied to the current item and to each parent up the document tree.

So you could add &hereClass=`someClassYouWantApplied` to your Wayfinder call.
