New to the world of modx and trying to make a template i have work.
Basically i’m trying to set up header and footer links on my site, where within the main nav (top of page), there is a second level of navigation show in a box on the side of the page.
the footer links are stored within a hidden resource, some of the footer links also have a second level of navigation, which i’ve managed to display in the same box on the side. using this code in a seperate template
[!Wayfinder? &startId=`[*parent*]` &level=`2`!]
when i click on a footer link that has a second level it will display the children links in the side box, but then i click on one of the side links, the side box doesn’t display the links anymore (to that page or the other pages of the parent)
Any suggestion or am i handling footer links with sub nav in the wrong way
solved using [[UltimateParent? &topLevel=`2`]]
