Hi, i am new to this wonderfuly cms, things where going fine however i am having a few problems.

First problem.
I want to list the children of a resource(another page) on the home page. The page who’s children are to be listed has the menu index of 2. So within the div where i want the items to be listed i replaced my html code with this [[Wayfinder? &startId=`2` &level=`1`]], but nothing happens. I cleared cache, reloaded the page but still nothing.

Second problem.
How can i get way finder to produce a menu in this format:

<li><a>Accounts&nbsp</a></li>
<li><a>&nbsp&nbsp|&nbsp&nbs</a>p Bookkeeping</li>
<li><a>&nbsp&nbsp|&nbsp&nbsp</a> Payroll</li>
<li><a>&nbsp&nbsp|&nbsp&nbsp</a> Business Start-up</li>
<li><a>&nbsp&nbsp|&nbsp&nbsp</a> Taxation</li>
</ul>

I am not sure if i have asked the question in the right way, so please dont hestitate to ask me to clarify. Will appreciate any help.

The &startId parameter needs the resource ID of the document, not its menu index. The resource ID is the number in parentheses to the right of its name in the tree.

What you need for your menu is a nested list.
```
<ul>
    <li>...Acounts
        <ul>
            <li> ... Bookkeeping
            <li> ... Payroll
            <li> ... Business Start-up
            <li> ... Taxation
        </ul>
    </li>
...
        
```
Wayfinder will do this automatically, provided the inner documents are "children" of the Accounts document. You can tell Wayfinder how deep to go using the &level parameter. Then style the resulting nested list with your CSS file.
