I found the call for the sitemap wayfinder call
[!Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &config=`sitemap_xml`!]
and it’s great, essentially lists everything perfectly without battling (at least except now), but there is one hitch, I can’t seem to call outtertpl outterclass and heretpl with it as I did on all my other menus, have four in total, and the question is
how do I style it? the fonts are smaller than the 1.2 em I called for its container (it looks to be running at 75%), even smaller on ie6.
Interesting, I’ve never used this... it sounds interesting. I’m guessing that you will be able to "template" that by editing this file, adding Wayfinder placeholders as needed:

I’m intrigued that you’re styling this. I would only be using sitemap XML for Google. When I make a sitemap for viewing, I just use typical Wayfinder calls and style that will CSS. Different strokes for different folks.

I actually stumbled upon it in a thread and usually I just submit a regular xml file to google, which I will do, but this was quite simple, meaning that of course I could just call wayfinder and add a show level so it wouldn’t go to deep, plus create an outer inner tpl etc, all I did was add this and viola, it went two level in....it was perfect, quick easy. It was actually just an accident, because I was looking for wayfinder to keep a sitemap for google, and found that it worked in a regular template without anything really extra to it.
the way I styled it was to just add the css I was looking for to the containing div, I didn’t need any sprite-like effects or some eric meyer css guru based ul li styling in that sense, just wanted to up the em and give it a list style graphic....but when it comes down to building a clear sitemap, I was suprised.
of course the actual xml file is something else completely different.
