Hi everyone.I have 2 simple questions which are stopping me from using ModX.
1. Does ModX support versioning. IE the ability to ’roll back’ a ’page’ to it’s state 2 weeks ago etc.
2. Is there any kind of approval process for changes? With some CMS systems I can create a ’page’
then email someone with the URL. They get an email with a link to the file and they can ’approve’
it and publish.
They are literally the only 2 things stopping me from rolling out ModX on a new (and future) sites.

1) Not natively though it is in the roadmap for Revo. We want to do this very right and it will be a big development focus after our initial Revo release.
2) You can do rudimentary publishing workflow now by setting up different permissions, but this is also one of those things we want to get very right as well, and is another item very high on the priority list.
There are some addons for Evo that enable versioning, but I’m not familiar with their details or implementation currently.

This is great to hear that it’s a priority now that Revo is officially released (whoo hoo!). I was having trouble finding said add-ons in the repository for Evo. Is that something someone can help me locate?

The add-ons for Evolution and Revolution are both located on modxcms.com
You can use the filter in the top right to narrow it down too
Thanks! I ran across just one for Evo called Auditor but have yet to try it.
