Download Wayfinder? Evo version no longer in the Repo?

Looks like SimpleScripts doesn’t include Wayfinder when it does its automagical installs... but the older version for Evolution is no longer in the repository:

Or am I just blind? The repo is a bit difficult to search sometimes... yar...

Thanks. It turns out that the SimpleScript install DID put the files in /assets/snippets, but they didn’t include the Snippet in the database. I just created a new Snippet and pasted in the necessary snippet text and I was in business, but wow... the repo shouldn’t be like this.

It’s there - you just need to filter by product (Evolution):

No... something is wrong with the search forms. That’s some REALLY odd behavior in there. I can go to
http://modxcms.com/extras/package/487 and see "For Revo ONLY" description. And I can filter by Evolution and see the correct older version:
http://modxcms.com/extras/package/487?versionFilter=evolution

But if I choose to filter by "all", I only see the Revolution package, so SOMETHING is wrong there:
http://modxcms.com/extras/package/487?versionFilter=all
(that only displays the single result for Revolution, not the anticipated TWO results).

Shouldn’t the default behavior be to show ALL results? And shouldn’t asking explicitly for ALL results actually show ALL results?

It is searching for all packages, just not versions. Since the Revo version is the latest, it is the one that is rendered in the search. Wayfinder is Wayfinder, regardless of which MODx distributions it is compatible with. If the most recent version of Wayfinder added to the repository was for Evolution, then you’d see that one in the search results. If we modified this to show all versions, and there were 50 Wayfinder versions, I don’t think you’d want to see them all in the search results.

Thanks for the explanation, Jason. I’d recommend that you change the label of the control from "all" to "Most Recent". Additionally, it would probably be useful to include a filter that would actually show *all* versions... for what it’s worth, I don’t think I’m the only one that’s confused by the existing behavior.
