Wayfinder for section links doesn't show active link?

Hi,

I’m using WF for internal links to sections within a page:

http://localhost/openhouse/index.php?id=7#19

where 7 is doc container and 19 is a contained doc.. But WF isn’t marking the current selection with class="active". Even tried:

[[Wayfinder? &startId=`7` &level=`1` &outerTpl=`headline_navOuter` &rowTpl=`headline_navlinks` &innerHereTpl=`headline_navlinks_active` &sortOrder=`DESC` ]]

and provided a specific innerHereTpl:

<li class="[+wf.classnames+] active">[+wf.description+][+wf.wrapper+]</li>

But its still not showing! Any ideas?

Tried that already, and no wiser! Doesn’t seem to work as advertised in there..

Yep, and that - tried &hereTpl and &innerHereTpl. Issue seems to be that there isn’t a way to tell Wayfinder to use the section name in the url rather than the docid to determine whether or not to set class=’active’

To be clear the url id will always be the same only the #section-no will change:

http://localhost/openhouse/index.php?id=7#20
http://localhost/openhouse/index.php?id=7#21

like wiki internal page navigation?
why not try to use CSS a:active class?

Yes thats what I’m doing, but Wayfinder isn’t applying the active class to the active li..

you mean like this?

.active a:active {
color: red;
}

Yes, similar css is defined. But wayfinder applies this to relevant <li> normally - its not doing it in this case where each link is internal, rather than a normal document.

I’ve hacked the code to do it - by using a section param on the url - but I would’ve thought wayfinder should be able to do it..
