I have a very strange problem using a WayFinder menu for the first time. I’m using one of the standard examples using dropdown.css, I’m not using any hierarchy, so it’s just a straight left-to-right menu.
The menu itself works fine, but immediately underneath it, there’s a band about 40 pixels high where the browser doesn’t receive clicks. I didn’t notice it until I wrapped a vBulletin in an iFrame, and you can’t click any of the top buttons in vBulletin. About 40 pixels down, the buttons start to work. Also, right now I haven’t configured the iFrame yet, so there’s a scrollbar, which also doesn’t receive clicks for the first 40 vertical pixels.
When I remove the Wayfinder menu from the template, everything works fine, so this sure has to do with Wayfinder. I’m wondering if anybody has any insight into this. I’m using the Dropdown.css example from MuddyDogPaws.

And of course, I’m an idiot. The CSS had the menu with a height of 100px even though I had this displayed inside a div with 30px height. I’ve changed it, and it of course works now. Presumably, the combination of the underlying 100px height and a high z-index caused the browser to intercept the clicks.
