How to make Drop-Down sub-menus?

Hi,
Here is my Wayfinder call:

[[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &level=`2` &hideSubMenus=`true`]]


It works great except that when I get to a page that has children, the children show up across in a straight line, instead of in a drop down menu.

For example

Home Articles Links Contact

then when I get to the Articles page it does this

Home Articles Big Articles Small Articles Links Contact

It should be making "Big Articles" and "Small Articles" in a drop down menu under Articles.

I just don’t know how to make templates in order to do this, or how to change the Wayfinder call appropriately.

Any advice or help?
