Excluding Children of Parent docs

Hey Guys,

I know if you use "&hideSubMenus=`true`" in Wayfinder you can exclude all the children documents of a parent folder. My question is, "How can you hide a specific sub menu without having to manually exclude docs? Here is an example of the layout i have now:

About us
about 1
about 2
Products
product 1
product 2

But i want it to look like this whenever they click on the products link without having to exclude docs in wayfinder:

About us
Products
product 1
product 2

So it there a way to do this?

I don’t think you completely understand what hideSubMenus does. It does not list the children of the top-level documents until you have selected one of the top-level items. Then it will display the children of that top-level document. That looks to me like exactly what you want to do.
