Just wondering if 2.5 beta has the ability to set &sortBy to a TV? I have created my own multilanguage solution that uses session variables and tons of TV’s to generate content- basically I’m just using the document title for the end user to be able to just identify a document, and not using any of the standard fields in the document- specifically, I didn’t want the client to have to choose a menu index value.
Anyways, I had to build a menu using Ditto since I needed to be able to sort by the last name entered in a TV. Of course, trying to set the &sortBy to a TV name just gave a php/mySQL error with the current version of Wayfinder.
This would be a huge help, since Wayfinder "keeps" the class for a selected document in a separate menu that is sorted by one of the standard sorting options.
