how to limit the documents in navigation

i have many document want to show some of them in top navigation and some of them in left vertical menu how i can set startid and endid or limit paramater to get result please help

You would use the &includeDocs or &excludeDocs parameters to accomplish this. They are pretty self explanatory.

I’ve also done this by having some of the docs set to show in menu, and one Wayfinder gets those, while the others are set to not show in menu, and the other Wayfinder gets those. With a bit of careful menuindex numbering and limiting in the Wayfinder calls, you can accomplish a lot in customized menus.

You can also organize your documents in unpublished containers.
