i’m wanting a sitemap on my website and im using wayfinder to realize this.
the problem is that i dont want certain documents in my main menu to appear but i want them to appear in the sitemap.
So how do i solve this.
i’m using wayfinder for the main menu also.

Three possible solutions:
If it is not too tedious, use either
1) &excludeDocs parameter to exclude certain docs in the main menu; or
2) use &includeDocs paramater to include the docs you want in the main menu
This third solution is probably easier and can be used independently of the other two solutions above.
3) Third solution involves using the parameter &ignoreHidden.
All the docs you want in the main menu should NOT have their show in menu UNTICKED, i.e. their show in menu boxes should be ticked. Then, the rest of the docs should NOT have this box ticked. Then, in your sitemap WF call, use &ignoreHidden=`TRUE` to tell WF to show all docs irrespective of whether their show in menu boxes are ticked or not.
Please note that if a parent doc is set to be hidden its child docs will not be displayed in the menu too.
