[SOLVED] linking parrent problem

How can i give a link the attribute to go back to a parrent folder.

this is my document tree.

parrrent (1)
- children (2)
- children (3)
- children (4)
- children (5)
parrrent (6)
- children (7)
- children (8)
- children (9)
- children (10)

now what i want to do is to give a link on either of the children pages a link back to their respective parrent.
but i want to do that in 1 chunk.
so when i give that link to either 1 3 or 7
i want to link to their own parrent id.

how can i do this?

i hope someone has an answer for me

Sorry I don’t exactly get the question. Where do you want the link? Do you want it placed in the contents of the child documents? In your post you say

but 1 is not a child document; it is a parent, no?

yeah the link will be in the content area of the child documets

Paste that in a chunk and call it in your child docs....Entails a lot of pasting though...maybe use a TV? (since it is available to many docs at once).
