LF Wayfinder several columns config

Does anybody get close to a problem to make WF in several columns like?:

This is not really a Wayfinder issue. You can use CSS to style those items in columns, especially if you have a rough idea how many columns you will want. Google for "list columns css". Here’s a classic one: http://www.alistapart.com/articles/multicolumnlists/

though i can’t imaging how to simply apply it to WF.
the easiest way seems to break list for several unvisible parents.

I have done this with simple floats, and tweaked the menuindex of the documents in question to have them in the correct visual order. For example, if I want my lists to be 10 items high and four across, I’ll have the document that I want to be the second in the first column have a menuindex of 5, the third will have a menuindex of 9, and so forth. This does mean adjusting menuindex settings when adding or removing documents, though.

I would be more inclined to make this a static menu, however, and put it in a chunk. Then when adding or removing an item, I’d just need to edit the chunk. This way I can structure and style the menu easily. Unless you want to have "here" menu items styled differently, or your menu is going to be changing a lot, you don’t really need dynamic menus.

Maybe that wasn’t the best link. See this ditto example:

The trick is in giving the list a specific width and floating them. This will make the list items wrap into columns.

yep, while googling around, i found out, that ditto is much better way in this case.

About static menu - yes, it’s a very simple and reliable idea, but i need this items to be pages, so i can use them to build script based content for SEO, you know.. ))
