Hide "child" documents

I have a menu bar on my site and would only like the main links to appear, not the links to "child" documents as well. How do I hide them?

The idea is that the "child" documents can only be accessed through links on the "parent" page.

Try the parameter &level=`1` - that means that Wayfinder will display only one level of documents below the &startId.
