Missing Classes in Wayfinder

Hello,

I am using


for my wayfinder rowTpl:



But I don’t get the "first" and "active" classes being added to the li element. I only get "last". Have I missed something?

&firstClass has no default value so will not be applied unless you specify it in your call. On the other hand, both &lastClass and &hereClass have default values and are applied by default unlsess you specify otherwise, i.e. "last" and "active" respectively. In this regard, if you want to use their default values you do not have to specify them in the WF call.

The &hereClass will only be applied to the currently active <li> item and its parents. Have you checked if this is happening in the source code?

Well, actually it does work for all of the menu entries except the first one. I just assumed it didn’t work at all when the classes were missing for the first entry.

The first one is actually a weblink - is that going to cause a problem?

Yes it does. In Wayfinder < 2.5 the weblink doesnt get the here class:
