I used Wayfinder and some CSS to create my top nav menu, and I was toying around with the idea of using a combination of Wayfinder and Ditto to build tabbed content. I’m wondering if I could get some help or advice.
The basic concept would be to take the tabbed content wiki article (
http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Tabbed_content) and use Wayfinder to generate the <ul> items for the tabs and Ditto to generate the <div>s for the tabbed content.
Wayfinder (by design) formats the <li>s at links to page ID’s. I’m wondering if there’s a way to have it format the <li>s with javascript parameters, as in the wiki article, and not links. Maybe a Wayfinder template? Anyone have experience with those? Wayfinder would also need to add the page ID to the <li> output.
I think I can use a Ditto template to properly format the content <div>s, including the page ID, so the two (Wayfinder tab and Ditto <div>) should be able to correctly correlate.
Anyone already done something like this? Code?
