Hello, I have created a menu with dropdown elements following the wayfinder ddaccordian wiki howto.
I have tried using both click and mouseover options but cannot get a reaction from the event. I know that the initialise is working as the submenu class is being set to display:none.
Rather than ask for help in getting it fixed, I am hoping that I can get some advice on how to go about troubleshooting. I am about to untangle it from modx and wayfinder to see if that helps, but assuming it doesn’t what methods do people use for troubleshooting this stuff?
I am using firefox+firebug, but it would be good if I could see whether ddaccordian has correctly bound the mouseenter action to my <li> - is there something that can do this?
I realise this is not strictly a modx question, but I reckon most of the people in this subforum will have found ways to work through these types of problem...
Oh, I am using this for a menu where the primary menu is horizontal, and the submenu components descend vertically from there - it occurs to me that using accordian is not the right solution, from an overkill and perhaps even doesn’t work this way. If so, is there a better menu for doing just dropdowns?
