wayFinder always sets both selected parent and its selected child as "Active"

Hi everybody,
I have some documents with 2 levels were arranged like this:

I want to displays them as horizontal menu with 2 lines. the active item is set by attribute &activeParentRowTpl or & &hereTpl
- when i click on one of parents item on 1st line, its children are display in 2nd line and its background is changed to imply that "you are here".
- then i click on one of children on 2nd line to display its content, the background of active child is changed to imply that "you are here" BUT the state on 1st line is reset.
I want the active state is kelp for both parent and child at the same time. is there any way to keep selected parent actived while we are navigating with its children?

Shouldn’t &hereTpl alone work in this case since it is supposed to create a breadcrumb-like trail ?....

I’ll give it a go.

You’ll need the &hereClass too I suppose...

By default WF will set all of the parents of the selected item to active. However when using custom settings this can be interfered, which is what I am guessing is your case. It is always a great help to see the Wayfinder call you are using and if possible any custom tpls you have setup.
