Can Not Understand How to Get Wafinder CONFIG to Work

Hello Wayfinder masters

I have tried to insert [[WayFinder?&config=`mlosto`]]

/assets/snippets/wayfinder/configs/mlosto.config.php

being the file I have made that I want wayfinder to interact with

Unfortunately when I insert [[WayFinder?&config=`mlosto`]] into my html template it does not get passed at all and shows flat out how it is with no change brackets and all on a rendered html page

The only wayfinder gets passed and working on my site is if I put something like  [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0`]] With no reference to a config

Is there something I am missing? Is there something I need to activate in the  ModX manager? If you know what to do please help. As my brain is not wrapping around wayfinder very well and I have spent many many many many hours trying to nut it out with examples here at modx and muddydogpaws.com

The config style call looked like a simpler way to get things happening, but I can not get that to work  :’(

You still need to give it a startId in addition to the config.
