Hi

I’m working on a website to be intergrated with ModX. The only problem I’m having is with navigation.

I have a load of css class rules set up for how i want my menu to look but I can’t seem to get Wayfinder to use the class i want.

For example:

Without Modx I would have put:

<ul class="menu">
</ul>

but with wayfinder it puts in the <ul> tag automatically without a class.

How do I attach a class to wayfinder?

Example To add one of these parameters to the snippet call use this format: &levelClass=`level`

This will result in <li class="level2">

U could also use the parameter &rowIdPrefix=`true` (havent tried this) and it should give each item a id.

I believe you would create an &outerTpl chunk (which is the outer most container for your nav), and in the chunk, you would have your code:

<ul class="menu">
</ul>

However, you would add:

<ul class="menu"[+wf.classes+]>
[+wf.wrapper+]
</ul>

That should get you started.
